In 2003:
January, 2003 - New puppies
On Jan 23, 2003, Lily had three puppies - all boys. One red and white
male, one creme and white male, one creme male. The sire is Joseph.
On Jan 30, 2003, Sufi had six puppies - five girls and one
boy. There are four red and white girls, one tan girl and one tan boy.
Barak is the sire.
April 12, 2003 - Apple Valley Group 2!
On April 12, 2003 under judge Norman Herbel, Barak won Herding Group 2 at
shows in Apple Valley, Mn! This was my first group placement and I
couldn't believe it! The judge said he really liked his movement and he
was a magnificent dog. Other wins that weekend, Petra was Winners Bitch
both days for two points on Sat and a 3 point major on Sunday. Barak was
BOB both days.
April 27, 2003 - Barak another Group 2 and a new champion!
On April 27, 2003 under judge Carl Leipmann, Barak does it again! He
was Herding Group 2 at the shows in Marshalltown, Ia. Mr. Leipmann was the
first judge that we showed to in 1997 after AKC recognition. He handled a
Canaan Dog in the 70's. Ezra finished his AKC championship on Sunday with
a 3 point major on Sunday. Petra was Winners Bitch on Sat. and Flame won
on Sun.
May, 2003 - New Herding Titles
Mira, Flame, Petra and Jake AKA Cherrysh Midnite AtThe Oasis, all passed the
CDCA Herding Instinct test the weekend of the 2003 CDCA National Specialty.
Jake is owned by Keith and Cheryl Shank. His dam is Ziva and his sire is
Barak.
September, 2003 - New Champion!
Eli finished his AKC championship under judge Mrs. Paula Hartinger at the
Rochester Kennel Club shows in Sept, 2003.
September 22, 2003 - Barak is Group 1!
At the Tri-City Kennel Club Barak became the first owner handled Canaan Dog
to win the Herding Group under judge Mr. Donald Booxbaum! He showed like a
dream and never quit as Mr. Booxbaum put us through the paces.
November 24, 2003 - New Puppies!
On November 24, 2003, Delilah whelped five puppies - four boys
and one girl. The are three red and white boys, one creme and white boy.
The girl is red and white. The sire is Zeke and this is his first litter.
