American Kennel Club Champion
Cherrysh Burning Desire
Bella is a silly and playful puppy. She is active and dominant towards a couple of her kennel mates but is submissive to my other dominant girls. She was Best in Junior Sweepstakes at the 2008 CDCA National Specialty in upstate New York. She has several points towards her AKC Championship. She was Winners Bitch at the CDCA National Specialty under judge Mr. Charles Trotter.
She finished her AKC Championship in style by winning Best of Opposite Sex over the Champion bitch (her kennel mate - Diamond) at the North Star Herding Group show in Lake Elmo, MN with the St. Croix Valley Cluster under judge, Mr. Larry Adams. The BOS win was a 4 point major. In Dec., we went to the AKC 125th Anniversary Show in Long Beach, CA. Bella was a very good dog and made many friends. She is so sweet and gentle. It was an unusual week as we had a blizzard before we were scheduled to leave, so Bella and I went to stay at my daughter's house so we wouldn't get snowed in at home and not be able to get to the airport. So we started out the week at Brooke's with her family. Then after the blizzard, it turned very cold and we couldn't get on the airplane because the airline was not taking dogs, so I rebooked a flight on another airline and we went to work during the day. So Bella spent the day with me at work. Then we finally arrived in CA and shared a motel with Trudi Kimm and her puppy, Trooper, a pyrean shepherd. We had fun on Sat at the show as we watched Alan and Minnie run in Agility and we spent some time in the Meet the Breeds booth. On Sun, Bella won Best Bred By Exhibitor and Award of Excellence. She showed very well in the BBE group and many people asked me about her.
Some of her notable wins:
Height: 21" - Weight: 38#
