American Kennel Club Champion, United Kennel Club Champion, Rally Advanced, CDCA Herding CertificateCherrysh My Trustworthy Toby
Toby is a very confident and friendly dog. He is started on obedience training but I haven't had the time to follow through with getting the CD. He does have herding instinct and we have used him to bring the sheep into the barn. He passed his herding instinct test held in conjunction with the 2001 CDCA national specialty. He earned his Rally Obedience Novice title in three shows. He earned his first two legs in Nov, 2005 at the Council Bluffs, Ia shows. Then he was able to earn the last leg for the title at the Land O'Lakes Kennel Club in St. Paul, Mn. He has only sired one litter because he is so closely related to my girls, I haven't been able to use him. He has one Champion son that was Winners Dog at the 2003 CDCA National Specialty - Ch. Mad River Black Bart. He is the grand sire of the second Canaan Dog to win an AKC All Breed Best In Show - Ch. Mad River Ladies First.
